Resident Evil 7 written by a westerner, a first for the series
The writer of Resident Evil 7 is Spec-Ops: The Line’s Richard Pearsey.

Pearsey, who also wrote F.E.A.R., is the series’ first western writer on a major Resident Evil title. He shared his involvement on his Twitter account, saying, “This has been quite a trip. Very glad to have played a part.”

Aside from F.E.A.R. and Spec-Ops, the most recent title under his belt is the iOS game 1979 Revolution that was banned in Iran. Pearsey was the writer and narrative designer on the game.

It’ll be interesting to see what flavour he’ll bring to the Resident Evil franchise, which has already made a significant change from past iterations by switching to first-person, and offering a VR version of the game.

Do you think the future of the franchise will change for the better, or do you miss the old formula?

Resident Evil 7 launches on January 24, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

ขอเนื้อเรื่องมันสเกลใหญ่แล้วต่อจากภาค6ได้ แล้วเห็นความเป็นมาของตัวละครเก่าๆก็ฟินแล้ว

ส่วนผมคงไม่เล่นเอง เพราะ FPS

อะไรคือวีรกรรมครับ เล่าให้ฟังที
ส่วนที่เกมดูแหวกแนวเพราะเกมมันภาคต่อมากไปจนไม่มีผู้เล่นหน้าใหม่รึป่าวครับ เลยไล่ย้อนซะไม่เหลือความเป็นตัวเอกยอดมนุษย์อีกละ

เหมือนกำลังนั่งยานออกไปอวกาศกำลังจะถึงทางช้างเผือกแล้วอยู่ๆสั่งตัด เฮ้ยๆกลับๆ ลงๆไปรากเหง้า (ซึ่งรากเหง้ามันก็ไม่ใช่อารมณ์นี้)
เอาพวกพระนางฮีโร่พวกนั้นให้เคลียร์ๆได้ๆกันไปก่อนมั้ยกำลังพีคๆ เอด้าโคตรเท่เสียดายนาง ตกลงนางทำงานให้ใคร เจคในตอนจบนั่นใส่ๆมางั้น ยังไม่ได้คิดเรื่องราวไปล่วงหน้า คิดมันภาคต่อภาค แล้วค่อยมาทำงี้ กึ่งๆรีบูทแต่ไม่ใช่รีบูท ไทม์ไลน์ต่อกัน
ถึงจะชอบเกมแนวนี้และไม่มีปัญหากับ fps ก็ตาม ยังไงก็รอดูรอเล่นนะอิแคป นี่คือ first-impression

ผมว่าตัวละครอย่างเอด้าจะมีบทในภาคนี้ มีบทให้ตัวเองใช้กล้องซุมด้านหลังได้ ก็คงจะแนวค้นจากบ้านร้างไปเรื่อยๆจนไปถึงช่วงสุดท้ายเหมือน outlast แบบมีปืนกะมีดให้ใช้นั่นแหล่ะ แต่อาจจะมีค่าความทน เผลอๆจะเอาเดดไรซิ่งของตัวเองเก่ามาประยุกต์ใช้เรื่องระบบบ ผสมอาวุธ ยาต่างๆ
