Tales of Berseria scores 35/40 from Famitsu review. 40 hours gameplay for main scenario, 80 hours if you complete everything.
9 points: There isn't anything particularly innovative in the new battle system, but it is high-level as a whole. It's easy to dish out combos in battle, plus it's interesting to take down enemies with the Break Soul system. 9 points: The story that Velvet's character paints really shakes the heart, to the point that it draws you in. You can freely move the camera as you please in battle. 8 points: In all aspects of the game's system, it really feels like it's reached its highest peak in terms of maturity of the series. However, I feel that it could have brought out a bit more of the PS4's power... 9 points: I was confused at first, but it's fun once you understand the battle system. The main character's circumstances and the people surrounding her differ greatly that it makes me recall some uncomfortable moments, but it's interesting on its own.
